Our 300 m free rifles proved to be outstanding rifles in competitions all over the world. All of our free rifles have a one-piece, square, bolt action. The bolt locks with seven locking lugs right after the chamber. The travel of the firing pin was designed to the shortest possible standard to reduce the lock time. All of our free rifles have the following features:
The Keppeler 300m free rifles are suitable for the ISSF disciplines 300 m prone, 300 m 3x40 (men) and 300 m 3x20 (women). In the ISSF disciplines calibers up to 8 mm are allowed.
Keppeler 300 m Free Rifle with Metal Stock K09 With the flagship of our 300 m rifles many titles and medals have been won nationally and internationally. The action is angular and thick-walled. Wall-thicknesses up to 12 mm lead to high stiffness and torsional rigidity. The Keppeler 300 m free rifle with the metal stock K09 is distinguished by the following additional features:

Further calibers are available on request. Left-hand design is available against surcharge. This rifle is also available with the Keppeler metal stock K05: On request, the Keppeler 300 m free rifle is available with a steel action. The steel action leads to high stiffness and torsional rigidity. The low action offers the possibility to mount the sights close to the bore axis which can lead to a better control of the rifle, especially in prone. Canting mistakes result in minor misses. The steel action does not have the unique horizontal adjustment for the sights. The dove tails for the rear sight and the front sight cannot be offset sideways. The rifle is delivered without sights. We recommend the use of Anschütz sights 7020. Our Keppeler 300 m free rifle is alternative to our metal stock K05-F also available with an Anschütz walnut stock. The steel action leads to high stiffness and torsional rigidity. The low action offers the possibility to mount the sights close to the bore axis which can lead to a better control of the rifle, especially in prone. Canting mistakes result in minor misses. The Keppeler 300 m free rifle with the walnut stock is distinguished by the following features:

The action is angular and thick-walled. Wall-thicknesses up to 12 mm lead to high stiffness and torsional rigidity. Unique is the horizontal adjustment for the sights: The dove tails for the rear sight and the front sight can be offset sideways. Thus the sights can be adjusted to the shooting position and the position of the head. In doing so, a tension-free head position can be achieved.

With the hinge, the cheek piece can be adjusted for an optimal, tension-free headposition and no problems opening the bolt and loading the rifle will occur. The rifle is delivered without sights.
